Randy Anderson — Photographer & Manager

Randy Anderson is a photographer and manager at Walsh Photographic Design in Park City, Utah. Since joining Dennis Walsh at the studio in 2005, Randy has photographed families, high school seniors, professional headshots, corporate teams, and events throughout Park City and beyond.​

How did I get here?

I was born and raised in Sandy, Utah. I started photographing my friends playing soccer in middle school, and I’ve had a camera in my hands ever since. Whether on my mission to Guatemala or exploring the ancient Peruvian ruins of Machu Picchu, photography has been a lifelong passion. I’ve been fortunate to make it my career for more than 30 years.

I began working as a photographer at 18 and spent ten years as an on-mountain photographer at Park City Mountain Resort. I started working with Dennis at Walsh Photographic Design in 2005, and as they say, “the rest is history!”

I’m also a passionate student of photography. I studied sports medicine at the University of Utah and Business Management at the University of Phoenix. Over the years, I’ve continued my photographic education through advanced workshops with some of the world’s most respected photographers. I’m also a certified drone pilot.

Away from the camera

I married my lovely wife Karina in 2003. We have two children: Kyle is currently studying at the University of Chicago, and Lidia, the princess, wrestled in High School and is now studying psychology at the University of Utah. Karina is from Peru, so we have made it a goal to speak only Spanish in the home. Having a bilingual home has been invaluable to our children as we teach them about different cultures.

You can find me on the sports fields when I am not behind the camera.  It does not take much to get me talking about sports.

Portraits, Headshots & Corporate Photography

At Walsh Photographic Design, I have the opportunity to photograph a wide range of people—from families and high school seniors to executives, corporate teams and event attendees. No matter who is in front of my camera, my goal is the same: help people feel comfortable, guide them through the process and create photographs that feel natural and confident.

I also work with companies, meeting planners, and organizations on professional headshots, team photography, and corporate event photography through Walsh Photographic Design.
